The In-Touch Staff Registry and Access Control System - enables you to control who is in your facility and know at a glance where they are at. Placed at the buildings entrance/exit the iButton Smart Terminal is simply touched with the users' personal iButton identification to gain access to the facility. Additional Smart Touch terminals may be placed throughout the facility to control access to sensitive areas or to simply indicate where personnel are working. Building access, Parking gates, turn stiles, computer rooms, labs, service areas, nurses stations, reception areas, lunch rooms, pool areas, break rooms, garage doors and entrance gates can all run on the same system. The system gives you the ability to grant or deny access to any access control point by time, date and location. A dedicated In-Touch Staff Registry server on your network keeps a record of all transactions, accepts or denies access to access control points, records IN and OUT punches at all Smart Terminals and provides real time information to any number of clients on the network about who is in the building and where they are at. A glance at any PC on your network can eliminate excessive paging and searching for personnel that are not even in the building!

Secure-The program has 4 levels of access permissions that only allow the user to see and modify information they have permission to access. The system is can be configured to allow building access to selected users on time schedules that you describe.

Easy- Never before has it been so easy to keep track of so much data with so little effort. Employees simply touch their personal iButton to a local Smart Touch Terminal to log IN or OUT of the system. The terminal shows them their name, time and status of the transaction.

Durable- The Staff Registry system uses the virtually indestructible iButton key for personal identification.  Only the size of a nickel, the iButton key identifies its user with a simple touch. The iButton can be dropped, stepped on, put next to a magnet or even run through the washing machine and it will still work. This makes it a perfect fit for dirty or extreme environments. Carried on your key chain the iButton personal identifier is always handy and hard to forget at home. The iButton has no batteries (it gets its power from the touch port on the terminal) so it will work for years. The iButton has a guaranteed unique serial number that assures you that this iButton will never be replicated in your database.
The Smart Touch Terminals are available in a stylish sloped front enclosure for office environments and a waterproof plastic enclosure for more extreme environments.
The terminals touch ports (IN and OUT) are made of high density plastic and stainless steel. There are no hard to clean optical readers (as in a bar code reader) or magnetically sensitive heads (as in a mag strip reader) to repair or replace. The identification signal is transmitted directly through a solid piece of stainless steel with a simple touch.


Scalable- The Staff Registry system uses a client server architecture that can be spread across your entire network. Employees are allowed to log into the system using their iButton at any touch terminal or they can log in manually at any work station. This allows you to place terminals all around your facility to which employees conveniently log in to their work area. There are no software set limits to the number of terminals or employees that can use the system.
