The iButton Keyboard Wedge allows you to put any iButtons serial number into any program or database by simply wedging it in through the keyboard port. No software is needed as the iButton keyboard wedge reads the serial number and automatically types it for you just as if you had typed the serial number yourself. This is a great way to deal with passwords as you can simply touch your personal iButton to the wedges administration port when a password is asked for.
